A family shop in Hickory

The journey of the Mich family began in September 1982. John Mich, his wife Becky, and two children at that time — Debora and Cris — traveled to the United States, escaping the communist regime in Romania. In 1983, in the heart of Hickory, John opened a service shop. The family grew: Daniel, Ruth, and Naomy. Everyone pitched in — working on cars, buying cars, running errands, picking up parts, washing, detailing, and reconditioning. Hard work was the norm. Trust and honesty were not slogans; they were how you stayed in business.

This is still a family-owned lot. We share the cars with people who care about them the way we do. Over forty years, customers have become part of an extended family. We work by Colossians 3:23: “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”
